Assignment IIIa - Teaching and Learning Technologies - Group Project - EDN113
For assignment IIIa we were formed into groups of four and asked to create an authentic learning task as a teacher resource. We then had to display it on a wiki space using 3 - 5 pages. We created four pages on our wiki to display our resource.
- Home Page; Which introduces each group member, introduces the topic, and the task overview. With a presentation video summarizing the organization of the wiki, and its creation.
- Authentic Task Overview Page; Outlines the task in more detail than the homepage and can be used by the teacher to give to their students as a guideline.
- Teacher Resource Page; A collection of resources for the teacher to use, both as a tool to build on their own knowledge of the topic and incorporate into lessons with their students.
- Teacher Info Page; This page displays a suggested lesson plan and time structure for the teacher with hints and tips pointed out to help them implement the task smoothly and effectively.
Our resource falls under the topic of nutrition and is meant to encourage students' eating habits, to be healthy choices and to continue making healthy choices for the rest of their lives.
