Research Technologies

For assignment two, we were asked to choose an educational area of interest and research different ways of teaching this using technology. We then had to write up a one to two page report about our findings and reference using the end note software. We had to include at least five references and one of each of the following; a book, a journal article, a refereed conference paper, a website, a movie and/or podcast. I chose history as my area of interest and found finding a conference paper on my chosen area very difficult. I would have to say that the videos I have referenced are my best resource. They give so much information, relate more to what I was researching and are so accessible. Compared to the journal article, book and conference paper. The website I referenced was also another great source, it talks about an interactive pop-up book which the students use to create/re-create a moment in history. I look forward to using a tool like it when I am teaching.
