Hi all,

It is hump day of week three and I am starting to feel the stress of studying full time! All the different assignments due, some due in the same weeks and others that are spread out which fools you into thinking you have ages before you need to start it and then you realize that the due date has arrived a lot quicker than expected.

I have just completed my first online quiz for EDN110 (Mathematics for Teaching) and got 90% so pleased. This is my weakest area and was really stressing about the quizzes and the whole unit in general, so it was fantastic for my self-esteem to get a good score! With the assistance of all the online resources that we have been provided with, a major one being HOTmaths, I will hopefully continue to succeed in this unit.

So I have submitted part a of assignment 1 for EDN113 (Living and Learning with Technology) which is good news considering it's due this Friday (9th of March) and am now looking forward to getting a start on part b of the assignment.
For this we have to create a social event and choose a social technology that we could use in assisting us with this event, either to plan it, inform people about it, manage music for it, create a menu and so on. I have chosen to organize a family reunion as I have quite a large family and the social technology I have chosen is a website to create a family tree that I will present at the family reunion. I have not yet found the website that I am going to use but have been researching into it and have found a few to choose from. At the moment I'm debating over my heritage or family search. Once we have done a bit of research our next step is to write a detailed description on how to use the social technology we have chosen. It needs to be accessible on our website and one of our peers will review it and that will go towards our final mark. I am a little over whelmed with this assignment at the moment I think it will be an extreme time consumer. So fingers crossed that I do well!

Wish me luck.....again ;)
